Reagan's story

Our Ray of Sunshine

Reagan, known from the moment he was born as our ray of sunshine. Reagan was a gentle spirit who aimed to make others happy - always had other people in mind.

Reagan was diagnosed with stage IV high risk neuroblastoma. Despite enduring a year of aggressive treatments, we could visibly see the disease continued to progress. At this point, he weighed less than 40 pounds and no longer able to walk.

While in the most aggressive and difficult stages of treatment, the world spun on its axis with Covid restrictions. Our world shrunk and we were no longer able to see or be with the people we needed most. Reagan asked "where did everyone go?" He was so use to having a regular rotation of visitors.

The light in his life during this difficult time was the birth of his baby sister, Kimber. When he met her, he just closed his eyes and held her as long as he could. Then he said, "Kimber is the best sister ever."

Weeks later, as he was preparing for his next round of chemo, Reagan suddenly, and without warning, went into cardiac arrest and passed away. He should be here.
